Description
Leaving the mountain village of Vnà northwards, the winter hiking trail runs along the forest edge through the snow-covered terrace landscape, gently rising into the Val Sinestra. From here you enjoy a view of the 2963 meter high Piz Spadla on the opposite side of the valley and the Piz Mottana to the north. After about 2.5 kilometers the path turns left and now runs gently downhill through the snow-covered forest. After crossing the La Brancla river, it continues westwards to Zuort, a gently rising forest clearing in the middle of Val Sinestra.
The mountain restaurant and hotel "Hof Zuort" offers delicious regional dishes as well as an overnight stay in one of the historic rooms. The return route is the same.
