Description

The first few metres lead through the historic district of Ilanz, the first town on the Rhine. Continue on the main road to Cumbel in the Lumnezia. From now on, it will be quieter and your own breathing will be louder. The paved alpine road leads past the pretty mountain village of Morissen and on to the lonely chapel of Sogn Carli. Here you could enjoy a picnic or heat up the existing fire pit. But if you don't want to carry any additional ballast up the mountain, you'll get your money's worth a short time later at the Gasthaus Bündner Rigi with the best panorama.

From here your way leads over gravel roads and little asphalt back to Ilanz.
