Description

Starting point in the Sogn Giacun district, just after the Sogn Giacun Chapel (left) on the Winter hiking trail No. 12. Same way back.

Note: Chapel keys are available at the Brigels information office  or at the Hotel Alpina.

Safety Note

If the weather conditions are uncertain, the route should not be started. Weather changes in the mountains are frequent. If a rain front or similar develops during the hike, you should turn back in time.

Equipment

High and sturdy hiking boots or winter boots, warm clothing, sun protection, hiking poles recommended.

Public Transport

Train stop Tavanasa-Breil/Brigels. Continue by bus to Breil-vitg, posta. Then walk to the starting point of the hike. For more information on the timetable, please visit the SBB website: www.sbb.ch.

Travel Information

Main road (No. 19). Turn-off Tavanasa-Breil/Brigels. Then take the Via Principala and Casut to Cuort.

Parking

Small paid parking lot available at Volg in Breil-vitg.
