You start at the Waltensburg valley station and set off on winter hiking trail 11 in the direction of Brigels (Brigels-Dorf). Follow the path until you reach the reservoir in Brigels. You now have the option of circling the lake on winter hiking trail 8 or simply traversing the dam on the left on winter hiking trail 9 . Follow the winter hiking trail 9 until you reach the asphalt road, which leads down to the village on the right. After about 250 meters you will arrive at the "Volg". From there, turn left along the main road to the Hotel Kistenpass. Attention: Take the left road in the direction of "Crest la Crusch".
