Until 1891, the chapel belonged as a branch of the valley church of St. Vincentius in Pleif. Since 1712, however, there has been an independent chaplaincy here, which is provided by Disentis conventuals. Construction of the chapel began in 1669 and was completed in 1670. In 1672 the chapel was consecrated by Bishop Ulrich de Mont.
Rectangular nave and choir closed on three sides, built to the north. Above the choir a barrel combined with a half-dome. In the nave there are bony cross vaults in two bays. Arched window. The tower stands on the northwest wall of the choir and was built in 1700. Arched sound windows, slender pointed helmet.
The high altar is a two-column wooden aedicule in the style of the early Baroque. The altarpiece depicts Anthony of Padua. The side altars made of stucco form counterparts to the high altar and were built around 1700.

Bells: With inscriptions 1738 and 1862, Grassmayr in Feldkirch.
