Local Museum Walenstadt

The local museum is dedicated to the history of Walenstadt. Besides documents of the town, pictures of important personalities are presented. The traffic route Sarganserland-Walensee and the use of the Widenbach hydroelectric power are vividly presented. Special exhibits are the original masks of the Gemeinderölli of Walenstadt and the wooden masks of Berschis.
