Weesen

In Weesen, the holidays and weekends can be enjoyed to the fullest. The mild climate, the picturesque town and Lake Walen offer everything you need to take a break from stressful everyday life. A trip to Weesen should not be complete without a walk along the harbour promenade.  The natural spectacle par excellence is offered by the mighty Seerenbach Falls. Standing on the viewing platform by the waterfalls, you almost get a little awe-inspired. From here, the view falls directly on the vertical rock face and the waterfalls plunging down into the valley. Right next to it is the white foaming Rin spring. The source is one of the largest underground river systems in Europe. Various expeditions with diving equipment explored the Rin Cave and penetrated over 1000 meters into the interior of the mountain.
