On a sunny terrace lies the village of Fideris (897 m). The houses, in the village center mainly beautiful and stately patrician buildings, spread along alleys and streets in all directions and form a star. The Heuberge ski area at 2000 m is known for one of the longest toboggan runs in Switzerland (12 km).
