Segantini 19: Le cattive madri – Die bösen Mütter, 1894
The picture refers to the poem «Nirvana» by Luigi Illica. Segantini painted it at the Lai Tigiel above Alp Tussagn on the opposite side of the valley. He may also have been inspired by the figures in the ceiling painting in the church of Son Martegn.

The local architect Gion A. Caminada designed the multi-purpose hall of Vrin together with the Chur engineer Jürg Conzett. The hall is located on the edge of the slope and adjoins the brick school complex.

The Crap Malèe is located below Degen in the hillside zone of Genastga. It was probably brought from the glacier to its current location. The large boulder stands out with its black coloration, its apple shape and with intense, restorative energies.
