The Chapel of St. George on Georgenberg, also known as St. Jöuri, is a Romanesque church from the 11th/12th century. It is located between Sargans and Lake Walen and is known for its energetic spots and the so-called headache hole.

The General Friedrich Schmid House in Malans is a baroque building at the southern entrance of the village. It impresses with carved paneling, a large Swiss pine room, and a salon with a richly decorated stucco ceiling. A small bakery house adjoins the vineyard.

The Aerial Tramway Urdenbahn is the core of the skiing area Arosa Lenzerheide, as it connects both destinations. After many years of planning and waiting, the cable car is in service since January 2014. Arosa Lenzerheide with its 225 kilometres of slopes, numerous mountain restaurants and sheer endless hours of sunshine, is the biggest connected skiing area of the Canton of Grisons.
