God da Tamangur - ein Wald und seine Geschichte(n)

Located in Val S-charl, the "God da Tamangur" pine forest is one of the most beautiful and well-known forests in Switzerland. Matthias Bürgi and Susan Lock from the Swiss Federal Research Institute WSL have examined it in more detail in a  research project. They have reconstructed its development and transformation as a forest for the last 100 years and have traced the variety of inspirations that it has provided for art, culture and science. A report on this has been published, which will be presented and handed in at this event.
