You will travel up in a group from Flumserberg Tannenboden to Maschgenkamm, where the hike begins. The guide will point out the spots where you can see the marmots. Often, you can hear their distinctive warning whistles from afar. Marmots are commonly found in the Flumserberg region. The certified Geo Guide Sardona will explain what makes this landscape so special and why it has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The hike ends at Chrüz. From here, you can take the chairlift back to the valley station BergJet. Alternatively, you can opt for a thrilling ride down the Floomzer sledding track or head back on foot. **Practical Information:** + Paid parking available at Tannenboden + Accessible by public transport (ÖV) from Chur: direct (or transfer to S4 in Walenstadt) to Unterterzen (Quarten). From Unterterzen, take the SeeJet gondola (right by the train station) for a 20-minute ride to Flumserberg Tannenboden. + By public transport from Sargans: Postbus 441 operates hourly to Flumserberg Tannenboden.
