150 years of Thomas Mann: Costume ball on the Schatzalp

With a costume and masked ball on the Schatzalp, the time of origin of the "Magic Mountain" at the original location comes to life. We invite all visitors to dress up in the style of the 20s, as well as organizers and staff, and together we create a unique ambience.



We start at 5.30 p.m. with an aperitif with magic and barrel organ music on the terrace of the Schatzalp with its very own charm and unique ambience. Afterwards, it's off to the historic dining room for an exquisite three-course menu.

As a play, characters from Thomas Mann's "Magic Mountain" come to life at the original location - they accompany the evening in individual scenes between the courses. For dessert, the band "Jill's Cocktail Combo" will play in the salon for dancing and round off the celebration with a serenade for the birthday child. Magical surprises accompany the guests until the last cable car into the valley.



To ensure that everyone can dress as stylishly as possible, the clothing fund of the Rosengarten Grüsch organises a costume rental on site. Costumes can be borrowed in advance in Grüsch.



The ticket includes a 3-course menu (excluding drinks), aperitif, music, scenic interludes, dancing and rides on the Schatzalp cable car.
