19. Musiktage Valendas – Eröffnungskonzert in Valendas

This year, the Music Days are all about French music. Under the title "Musiques françaises", the tonal elegance, stylistic diversity and emotional depth of this rich musical tradition will be explored. The opening concert will perform Jean-Philippe Rameau's "Pièces des clavecin en concert" (1741). A baroque rarity in which the harpsichord steps out of its accompanying role and acts as an equal, often even leading chamber music partner. Performers: Karel Valter (traverso), Mauro Lopes Ferreira (baroque violin) and Céline Frisch (harpsichord).
