The band around saxophonist Gianna Lavarini met at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and completes itself with Till Santschi on bass and Jason Nordemann on drums. The trio primarily plays original compositions by all members; sometimes groovy, sometimes melodious. The band plays its debut at the JazzChurFestival, reinforced by the Graubünden singer Anna Bläsi with her wonderful voice.

With "Cleo", Lea Maria Fries presents a contemporary and thematically highly topical work. The eleven compositions describe her personal journey and are an honest examination of the world and herself. Arranged by Julien Herné and illustrated by some of the finest musicians on the French jazz scene, the "Cleo" sounds sensitive, powerful, fresh and surprising.

The duo "Training", which has been in existence since 2019, enters into a collaboration with the celebrated electric bassist Ruth Goller. The band collectively creates a new, energetic music: meandering grooves, instrumental-vocal nesting, expressive training sessions, weightless unison melodies – created with the help of the composition method "Cadavre Exquis".
