Alpinwanderkurs in der Tektonikarena Sardona

In this course you have the opportunity to get acquainted with alpine hiking. We will mostly be on the road in the T4 area, which means often in pathless terrain. We will show you what you need to take into account in this terrain and how you can plan your tour carefully.

During these three days, we will also discover the fascinating Sardona tectonic arena. We marvel at the various landscape and natural elements of this region: the Flims and Tamins landslides, the beautiful whirlpool pots of Alp Mora or the barren but beautiful stone desert around the Ringelspitz, to name just a few.

Day 1

The exact meeting point in Tamins will be announced later. This will be tailored to the public transport connection of the participants. After the hut ascent to the Ringelspitzhütte, we climb a first small summit and deal with what alpine hiking actually is. If you like, you can get an insight into the tour planning for the coming day in the evening.

Day 2

After breakfast we make our way towards Schafgrat. In particular, we deal with route finding in pathless terrain, but also with objective and subjective dangers in alpine terrain. Back at the Ringelspitzhütte in the evening, there is again the opportunity to deal with the tour planning for the coming day.

Day 3

Over the whirlpool pots of Alp Mora, you return to the valley on the last day. We will apply and deepen what we have learned so far and if the weather is nice, there will certainly be time to bathe at least our feet in the crystal clear water. The journey home is expected to be from Bargis and the end of the course will be coordinated with the public transport connection of the participants.
