Mountain forest habitat

Close to our settlements and dry rooms, the inhabitants of the mountain forest have adapted perfectly to the harsh environmental conditions prevailing here. But under what conditions do the animals live in these forests and how do they manage to cope? Join Pro Natura on a short hike through the Arosa mountain forest. Together you will go in search of the traces of its inhabitants and hopefully meet some of the animals that live here in person – the three-toed woodpecker, the spruce crossbill, deadwood beetles, clandestine chickens and owls.
