Art and concert at the Bandlistall in Valendas

The initiators and owners of the newly renovated Bandlistall in Valendas have come up with something special for July: an art exhibition with two artist friends from the "Unterland" who live practically at the same level as the Müller-Stalder family, but in different cantons.

Urs Jaermann, from Wald ZH, worked in advertising for many years. After leaving the advertising industry, he rediscovered his passion for painting. Urs Jaermann works mainly with acrylic on canvas and creates works that reflect his conceptual approach to art.

His art is often interspersed with a touch of sarcasm or critical humor. Jaermann's work spans various themes such as portraits, the state of the planet, and interpretations of nature. In addition to traditional painting, Jaermann also deals with contemporary topics such as climate change and
social conflicts, which he looks at through a more abstract lens. Some of his works are created digitally and printed on art paper. This diversity of media and themes reflects Jaermann's innovative spirit and commitment to documenting and criticizing the world around him through his art.

Urs Zeltner, from Euthal SZ, was head of decoration at the LOEB department store in Bern. One of the most sought-after jobs in Switzerland for decoration designers. He was able to make a strong creative contribution as a designer and designer. However, artistic design was also displaced by music for a long time. A few years ago, he found his way back to the "painted" canvas, on which he passionately lets off steam. He now increasingly combines music and painting.

As the highlight of art and concert in the BandliStall, Kurt Zeltner will play with his band on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 8 p.m. in the garden of the BandliStall.
