Fidibus presents: Cinderella
A heartwarming musical fairy tale for the whole family

Fidibus knows them all: fairies, witches, princes, goblins, maids... and of course Cinderella – and thus probably the most romantic fairy tale of all time! And when Fidibus tells a story, fun is not to be missed. So this time he takes us into the fairy tale of the lost shoe with his cheerful "hocus-pocus" and the glittering magic book ...

Fidibus bleeds the heart. Because since the death of her beloved mother, Cinderella has lost her enchanting laughter. As if that wasn't enough, her mischievous stepmother and smug stepsister are after her: day in and day out, she has to wash, put, cook and even sleep in the kitchen in front of the stove. And is therefore ridiculed as "Cinderella" at every opportunity.

On the other side of the city lives a sometimes annoyed prince. His father, the king, is so concerned about his well-being that he doesn't even allow him to ride his favorite horse. But: Salvation is approaching. In order for the prince to be allowed to take over his father's inheritance one day, he must pass the royal aptitude test in front of Fidibus and all the people.

And what next? This much can be revealed: A lost shoe turns the prince's head. Although: Isn't it more grace, cordiality and perseverance? Or animal friends, three witch hazels and the desire for freedom? Or all of the above? In the story by Tom Baumann and Mario Moe Schelbert and directed by Matthias Keilich, the Grimm classic is magically transformed into a heartwarming fairy tale theatre for young and old – also thanks to live music.
