Event Engadin St. Moritz
Birdwatching in Pontresina
Description
Expert birdwatchers will tell you which bird is currently eating out of your hand and answer questions about native birds. The meeting point is at the Upper Engadine Bird Protection feeding station in the Taiswald forest in Pontresina. No registration is required.
Meeting point: Walk along the left side of the river towards Val Roseg, where you will meet the guides at the “bird feeding clearing” (approx. 20 minutes from the Gitögla car park).
Guides available: 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Equipment: Warm winter clothing
Cost: Free
By the way: There are also numerous hungry titmice and other bird species in the Stazerwald forest. You can try your luck there too. However, as there is no feeding station there, you will need to bring your own birdseed.
Highlights:
Wild birds in the great outdoors look forward to being fed directly from your hand.
