Every year, the students take part in this lecture on 1 March.

An ancient custom dating back to Roman times dictates that on 1 March the nasty winter spirits are to be chased away up the mountains by ringing as many bells and bells as possible and by cracking whips. This is done with the intention of allowing spring to enter the valley freely. The schoolchildren undertake this task every year with great joy.
