Chaos Theatre Oropax - Water Festival

On, above, in and under water: The regionally world-famous Oropax brothers open the swimming pool for a spectacular water festival! In the setting sun, tears of laughter from the audience flood the pool. The bulging, floating open-air stage is a blast. Magnificent views allow the audience to look far beyond the edge of the pool!

With the onset of dusk, the lights go on for the spectators: they have never been allowed to experience their favourite swimming pool like this before. The Oropax mermaid men set sail in Badi Lake. Colourful costumes, black humour, colourful fountains – the liquid brothers celebrate and are truly water festivals. Far from pure elegance, gags that are on the UV index suddenly increase the dirt factor. Rustic futility triumphs in 5⁄4 time.
