For La, Adrien and their little brother Tho, the holidays are just around the corner. This year they are going to their grandfather Paul, whom they have never met before because of a family dispute, for the first time. The destination - Provence: Hardly the holiday the three dream of. Even grandmother Irne's joy about this family vacation is no consolation. In addition, the father tells them the day before departure that he will leave the family. So not exactly the best prospects for a good mood and a fun holiday season.
As soon as they arrive in Provence, the differences between the two generations collide. There are always arguments between the young people and their grandfather, who, according to the kids, is a stubborn donkey. Paul's turbulent past also plays a role again and again. A chaotic summer begins in picturesque Provence, in which both generations try to master togetherness, come to terms with the past and, above all, remember that despite all the contradictions, they are one family.
