Cinema: "The phoenician scheme" in Ilanz

In his new film, Wes Anderson tells the bizarre story of Zsa-zsa Korda, an eccentric weapons and aviation magnate, and his unusual family. Korda forges an ambitious megaproject – the "Korda Land and Sea Phoenician Infrastructure Scheme" – which soon meets with fierce resistance. At the center of the film are Zsa-zsa, his daughter sister Liesl (yes, a nun!) and her taciturn educator Björn Lund. The result: a globe-spanning adventure with a dark undertone, interweaving themes such as power, espionage and the complicated relationship between father and daughter with Anderson's usual style and fine irony. As you are used to from Anderson, Benicio del Toro, Scarlett Johansson, Michael Cera, Tom Hanks, among others, shines a star line-up in all roles.
