Concert "Duo Ranas - Argentinian Tango"

Dúo Ranas is back on tour in Europe! And because they inspired us and our audience so much last time, we're bringing them back to consumption!

The two musicians Pablo Schiaffino (piano) and Leandro Schnaider (bandoneon) grew up in the legendary Café Tortoni. Already their first album in 2007 became a bridge to Europe and South Korea. Twenty-nine tours and collaborations with renowned tango artists such as Lidia Borda and Walter "Chino" Laborde have followed.
They present their album "Tata", an Argentine word for father. The album combines 100-year-old tangos with melodies from the 1940s by Astor Piazzolla and original compositions.
Typical of the Ranas is their precise and passionate approach to listening, deciphering and condensing the old recordings. Their music is characterized by the original arrangements and the intense interpretations. In doing so, they take their audience on a deep and authentic musical journey.
