Conference "The relationship between the Three Leagues and Venice"

2024 marks a moment of great importance for the municipalities of San Vittore and Roveredo, which are preparing to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the foundation of the Free State of the Three Leagues. This historic event is of significant importance for the Canton of Graubünden, representing a unique opportunity to rediscover and enhance the history and culture of this region.

Following the annexation of Valtellina and Valchiavenna, trade between Graubünden and Venice became freer. During the conference "The relations between the Three Leagues and Venice", Professor Luciano Pezzolo of the Ca' Foscari University of Venice, will deepen the cohesion between the Three Leagues and the Venetian Republic.
