Design am Rhein: Bodenblicke - "Cumpogn" - Hanwerk mit Charakter in Splügen

An object with soul: "Cumpogn" - Rhaeto-Romanic for "companion" - is a handmade walking stick made from Graubünden ash wood that bridges the gap between Alpine tradition and contemporary design. Created by interior architect & designer Adina Hänny, each piece is carefully handcrafted in a small workshop in Graubünden - honest, local, sustainable.

The characterful "Nuv" made of wood or horn, a finely crafted leather strap and the simple metal tip testify to creative sensitivity and functional precision.

As part of Design am Rhein, the "Cumpogn" - accompanied by sketches and material samples - will be exhibited in the lounge of the Hotel Bodenhaus in Splügen.

At the launch on June 26 in Chur, curator Fabienne Barras will present the project; Adina Hänny will then be available for personal discussions - about paths, values and walking as an attitude.

The event is part of Design am Rhein, which will take place from June 26 to July 13, 2025 along the Anterior and Posterior Rhine to Chur. More information can be found at www.designamrhein.ch
