Design am Rhein: Cosmolia in Andeer

Inspired by Graubünden sgraffiti, Linda Gribi founded the "cosmolia" label to realize her idea. She creates silk foulards and silk scarves with motifs from Graubünden house wall decorations. cosmolia lives and breathes Swissness.

Linda Gribi, founder of cosmolia GmbH, explains why she consistently pursues and implements the slow fashion strategy with her label.
After training as a fashion designer at the STF in Zurich, Linda Gribi recently created her first clothing collection "Elegance with sparkle". Another collection, "Sgraffito", is in the making. Linda Gribi loves contrasts. It is also important to her to combine art, craftsmanship, culture and design. She attaches the highest priority to the circularity of materials and fair production in all her thoughts and actions. All materials used, especially the fabrics, are GOTS-certified or come from controlled organic cultivation and were produced in Europe.

During Design am Rhein, Gibri Zemp presents the process as well as the design of the shapes and colors and gives a playful insight into the patterns of the Sgrafitos with a quiz.
A program for families, design enthusiasts and those who want an insight into the textile craft.

On Sunday, June 29 from 3.00 - 5.00 p.m. there will be a workshop and quiz on textiles and patterns.
