Design on the Rhine: Cosmolia - Sgrafito and Textile Design with Presentation and Quiz

A programme for families, those interested in design and those who want an insight into the textile trade.

Due to the inspiration from the Graubünden sgraffiti, Linda Gribi founded the label "cosmolia" to realize her idea. With motifs from the Graubünden house wall decorations, she creates silk foulards and eiden scarves.  

Linda Gribi, founder of cosmolia GmbH, explains, among other things, why she consistently pursues and implements the strategy of slow fashion with her label.
After training as a fashion designer at the STF, Zurich, Linda Gribi recently developed her first clothing collection "Elegance with Shine". Another collection "Sgraffito" is in the making. Linda Gribi loves contrasts. It is also important to her to combine art, crafts, culture and design. In all its thoughts and actions, it attaches the highest priority to the circularity of materials and fair production. All materials used, especially the fabrics, are GOTS-certified or come from controlled organic cultivation and were produced in Europe.

During Design am Rhein, Gibri Zemp will present the process as well as the design of the shapes and colours and give a playful insight into the patterns of the sgrafitos with a quiz.
