In the exhibition in the old sawmill, works by local designers and craftsmen can be seen.

The Buchli/Isenschmid duo will be showing ceramics made from construction rubble and scraps from a brickworks in Landquart. In the studio, the art duo first began to look at the broken bricks, recognized shapes, removed them from the blocks, experimented with different temperatures in the kiln and created something new. During this creative phase, Piera Buchli received a request from a top chef for tableware. "So our art project grew into a side arm." All kinds of shapes on which the chef now presents his culinary arts.

In the works of Yvonne Rogenmoser, seemingly contradictory realities stand side by side. Banal, everyday culture, existential feelings and wit merge into a playful but profound whole. As image carriers for these stories, the ceramics are as fragile as they are imperishable.

Silvie Schaufelberger of Tenna Tweed gives value to wool and craftsmanship. Their products contain as much Safiental and Graubünden as possible. The Safiental sheep's wool, spun into yarn in Jenaz, dyed in Tenna with plants from the region and woven by hand, creates the high-quality tweed fabric. This results in unique products.

Just because of the wood from the Safien Valley – mainly larch and spruce – sawn, dried and processed in Tenna, everything is unique. The solid wood is transformed into unique products in Martin Schaufelberger's carpentry workshop in Tenna with a lot of passion for craftsmanship.

Inspired by traditional grass drying elements from agriculture, the artist Delia Sulser and the woodworker Thomas Florin have developed a drying scaffold for laundry items. In the old Versam sawmill, they give an insight into their wood and stone worlds.

Entrance free.
