Design on the Rhine: Live presentation of "Eva Brunner" in Ilanz

With her research into alternative screen printing inks, the textile designer is dedicating herself to mineral pigments. Eva Brunner designs textile surfaces with local earth colours and produces colours from construction waste.

Raw materials such as building materials and soils are the starting point for textile screen printing. Collected on construction sites or during construction projects, the raw materials are processed into pigments and tested. This creates a colour palette for the respective material and documents the colourfulness of a place or building. The textiles placed in living spaces tell the story, complement functional needs and underline the individuality of a room. The rough and coarse earth turns into a fine and soft print on the textile surface.

The event is part of Design am Rhein, which will take place from 26 June to 13 July 2025 along the Anterior and Posterior Rhine to Chur. More information: www.designamrhein.ch/
