Domleschger Sommerkonzerte 2025 - 2. Schubertiade

Brief concept
During Franz Schubert's lifetime, performances of his works were referred to as "Schubertiades", initially as private events and later as public concerts. Nowadays, festivals and concert series are also referred to as "Schubertiades". In French-speaking Switzerland, the Schubertiade is held every two years by Espace 2 (Radio of French-speaking Switzerland). On a weekend in September, thousands of classical music fans from all over Switzerland flock to the host city and listen to the many concerts, from chamber music and choral concerts to orchestral music, in a wide variety of concert venues such as churches, halls, halls, squares and tents - a very special kind of folk festival.
Of course, our 2nd Schubertiade of the Domleschg Summer Concerts will not be quite as big. Small but nice, in keeping with the DoSoKo motto, various concerts with well-known Grisons musicians from the world of classical music will take place simultaneously in the two churches of Almens. The audience can put together their own concert program. If you take the whole afternoon, you can even listen to all the concerts. The artists will present us with wonderful music, from baroque to Mozart to - how could it be otherwise - Schubert, but the audience can also expect something contemporary, a colorful musical bouquet in a beautiful place in the Domleschg!

• Ensemble Quartettin with Cristina Vital (flute), Laura Zangger (violin), Ruth Michael (viola) and Anita Jehli (cello)

The Postbus takes concert-goers to Almens comfortably and without parking problems. The start and end of the Schubertiade are aligned with the Postbus times.
