“Emozioni in Rosa”. Tumore al seno: una mostra

The Moesano Soroptimist Club, in collaboration with Ambulanza Moesano, presents the event "Emotions in Pink": a photographic exhibition accompanied by books and a round table dedicated to the theme of breast cancer. The initiative will be held in the spaces of the Moesa Health Center in Roveredo from February 24 to March 13, 2026.

The main objective of the project, promoted by the Soroptimist, is to raise awareness of the importance of free mammography screening, which is available to all women in most of Switzerland. Through ten portraits, the exhibition tells the stories of women who have faced the disease, offering a message of strength, resilience and hope. The images, authentic and touching, represent a journey into awareness: an invitation to understand how early diagnosis can make a difference.

The vernissage is scheduled for Tuesday 24 February 2026 from 7.30 pm. The evening will be enriched by the presence of the cantonal doctor Dr. Marina Jamnicki, head of the Graubünden screening program, as well as by the presentation of the diary of Patrizia Riboldi, Soroptimist member, "One hundred days of healing: You are not your tumor", in which the author tells firsthand about her treatment path. During the evening, the book "The Year of the Pale Sunflower" will also be presented, a moving testimony of a mother who, inspired by the flower of the sun, narrates her experience of illness and rebirth. The evening will be hosted by RSI journalist Alice Pedrazzini. The exhibition will end with the finissage on 13 March, with the proposal of a narrative café on the theme, conducted by Aixa Andreetta, from 17.00 to 18.30 approximately.

The entire event is proposed as a moment of reflection and sharing, but also as an opportunity to spread a message of prevention, solidarity and hope: because life, even after the hardest trial, can flourish again.
