Event Arosa Lenzerheide
Eröffnung Kultursommer «m-ta-ta, m-ta-ta... Walzer wie nie!»

Description
For the opening of the Arosa Cultural Summer, this year the Salon Orchestra of the Graubünden Chamber Philharmonic will perform on the forest stage in Arosa. The Salon Orchestra was founded 30 years ago on the occasion of the Cantonal Bank's anniversary. At that time, the ensemble toured the entire canton alongside other artists, only to fall back into a Sleeping Beauty-like slumber. Some time ago, the small but fine orchestra awakened again. In the Chur Postremise, it has played for countless dances in recent years, serving guests waltzes, polkas, and foxtrots, allowing the energetic audience to storm the dance floor. With the concert on the forest stage in Arosa, the musicians pay tribute to the undisputed waltz king Johann Strauss (Son), who would celebrate his 200th birthday this year. Of course, the waltz of all waltzes, "On the Beautiful Blue Danube," must not be missed.
