With the viaduct – the world's first reinforced concrete bridge and the longest span railway bridge at the time of its construction – Langwies possesses an architectural landmark of international significance. Instead of a single museum building, several historically significant spaces near the train station will be repurposed for the Viaduct Museum. This will create a multi-faceted museum with various stations that illuminate the history of the Langwies Viaduct from different perspectives, making it accessible to locals and visitors alike. Leading up to the opening weekend, daily content will be published on Instagram.
