With the viaduct – at the time of its construction the largest and longest-spanning reinforced concrete railway bridge in the world – Langwies has an architectural landmark of international significance. For the Viaduct Museum, instead of a single museum building, several historically significant spaces near the station will be repurposed. This will create a multifaceted museum with various stations, where the history of the Langwies Viaduct will be illuminated from different perspectives and made accessible to locals and guests alike. In the lead-up to the opening weekend, content will be published daily on Instagram.
