If someone claims that there is no one left who can paint like Rembrandt, then that is a myth. Patrick Devonas' art of painting is not only convincing in its mastery of Old Master techniques, but also addresses myths and legends from past times, as well as from the present. The thematic transfer to the social issues of modern life is illustrated by the independent and imaginative picture compositions. The artistic position of the so-called "Réalisme imaginaire" enables Patrick Devonas to create a multi-layered narrative from stories from Klosters and Prättigau to global political social issues. We are pleased to present an extensive exhibition of his work at Atelier Bolt to the guests of Klosters Music.
