Event Surselva
Exhibition of the four bibliophile works by Hendri and Matias Spescha in Trun

Description
on Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday
The works with poems by Hendri and pictures by his brother Matias Spescha are among the most beautiful Rhaeto-Romanic books. On the occasion of Matias Spescha's 100th birthday, the Sursilvan Cuort Ligia Grischa Museum is presenting the four bibliophile works. In this exhibition we get to know Matias Spescha as an illustrator. The Romance scholar Renzo Caduff introduces the poet Hendri Spescha, who is considered one of the most important innovators of Rhaeto-Romanic poetry. Two films from the 1960s show the two young brothers in search of their artistic expression.
As sparse as Hendri's poems are, Matias' pictures are reduced. Both artists differ greatly in form and content from the tradition of Surselvian literature and painting.
