Exhibition: St. Jörgentag - Delegates of the Grey League meet in Trun

For more than 370 years, the Cuort Ligia Grischa, today's Sursilvan Museum, was the centre of the Grey League every spring around St. Jörgen's Day. Councillors from all 21 judicial municipalities have met here to discuss the upcoming business. The exhibition picks up on this thread and gives a direct insight into the Bundestag in 1698.
We have the opportunity in the corridors and in the district judge's room to listen to the conversations of some of the council messengers at official business. We can also take a look behind the scenes and get an impression of the elaborate preparatory work in the house and especially in the kitchen. In the sleeping chambers in the attic, we listen to the secret conversations of the councillors at night. The abbot of Disentis, the administrator of the lordship of Rhäzüns as the representative of the Austrian emperor, the district judge Johann Gaudenz von Capol, the councillors from the Surselva, from the judicial communities of the Hinterrhein and the Misox appear. In the kitchen, the cook gives us an insight into the menu plan and how the physical well-being of the council messengers is taken care of.
