Fireside chat with psychoanalyst Jeanette Fischer

Jeannette Fischer studied comparative religion in Athens and Tübingen. After two years, she trained as a Freudian psychoanalyst in Zurich. She worked in this profession for thirty years in her own practice. In 2018, she published her two books "Psychoanalyst meets Marina Abramović" and "Fear – we must be afraid of her". In 2021, the book "Hass" was published and in 2022 "Psychoanalyst meets Helene and Wolfgang Beltracchi". Her most recent book "What I desire is with me" - Narcissus and Narcissism was published in October 2023.

Fischer's main concern is the uncovering of covered, violent structures or the questioning of all power structures and at the same time the introduction of a new way of thinking in which the only thing that unites human relationships is the recognition of difference.
