Freeride Festival Flims Laax: Talk about avalanche fundamentals
Description
The Bergsportschule Grischa teaches you the basics of avalanche theory in a compact and understandable way - so that you are safer off-piste and can better assess risks. You will learn how avalanches occur, which snow layers are critical and which factors increase the risk.
The team at the mountain sports school will show you how to read an avalanche bulletin correctly, recognize danger patterns and incorporate this information into your tour planning. This will give you a clear picture of how to make informed decisions and significantly increase your safety in the terrain.
This talk is part of the Freeride Festival Flims Laax—an event that brings together deep powder, creativity, and alpine adventure in a unique format. Throughout the first week of March, riders, filmmakers, and outdoor enthusiasts come together to celebrate the diversity of freeriding, with contests, workshops, a testival, and inspiring encounters both on the mountain and in the valley.
