Freeride Festival Flims Laax: Workshop Avalanche Safety Beginner
Description
Freeride Festival Workshop
Time to head into the powder – but with a smart and safe approach. In this workshop, you’ll learn everything you need for your first turns off-piste.
We’ll show you which equipment you need, how to use it correctly and what you can do to minimise risks. You’ll learn to recognise danger patterns, understand avalanche bulletins and react appropriately in emergency situations. You’ll be guided by a certified Swiss mountain guide.
This workshop is led by a mountain guide from Bergsportschule Grischa and is part of the Freeride Festival Flims Laax – an event that brings together deep powder, creativity and alpine adventure in a unique format. Throughout the first week of March, riders, filmmakers and outdoor enthusiasts come together to celebrate the diversity of freeriding, with contests, workshops, a testival and inspiring encounters both on the mountain and in the valley.
More information about the Freeride Festival and this workshop, including the booking link, can be found on the event website.
Goodies: A free festival pass for the Testival area (Sat/Sun, March 7–8) at the Freeride Base Nagens is included in the workshop price.
Further information about the goodies, the workshop booking link and the latest event updates can be found on the event website.
