From the tree to the board with water power. Demonstration of the 19th century sawmill trade. The force of the water on the water wheel, the intelligent drive of the sawmill, the rumbling of the saw frame, the song of the saw blade.

Tip: Combine this event with a beautiful hike. From Brigels and Waltensburg, the Resgia can be reached on foot via Migliè in approx. 1½ hours, from Andiast in approx. ¾ hours. The old Gneida sawmill can also be reached by car: The driving licence for the mountain road from Waltensburg/Ucliva to the Gneida sawmill and back can be obtained on site (Gneida sawmill) from the sawyer.
