A guided tour through the village center of Cazis from the point of view of the commercial street. Who was the brilliant master builder Giulio Pocobelli, who built the road from Bellinzona to Chur in just five years? Why was this road so important? But it is not only these questions that the guides answer them. The road through Cazis led through the upper village. It was not until 1856 that the road was relieved, although the Commercialstrasse took up traffic in 1822. Why did the Cazner farmers prevent Pocobelli's idea of building a bypass? On the way from Cafluristutz, the guided tour goes around the village centre of Cazis, past the monastery and church to the inner village. On this section of the trail there are 13 plaques that tell the story of the commercial road. This time there are three guides for our guests. Karl Pirovino, as a connoisseur of church history, and Herbert Patt, who took on the history of Cazis, tell what Cazis once looked like. Then there's Philippe Heyerick. He tells his impressions of how he felt when he found a new home in Cazis many years ago. At the end of the tour, there will be a small aperitif in the Pfrundhaus.
