HIT HAPPENS is the incarnate attempt to extract the quintessence, the DNA of hackneyed, worn-out chart hits, to reassemble the structure of the music cells, to re-fertilize them in the rehearsal laboratory under the greatest noise hygiene, to raise their newly grown cultures with love and patience and finally to inject the newly bred Frankensteins into an interested audience via the eardrums...

Hit happens – that's Patricia Fehr and Christian Zünd. The classically trained guitarist and the jazz drummer both studied music at the Hochschle Lucerne. As a duo, however, the two Altstätters devote themselves entirely to pop music. They reinterpret chart hits from the last 30 years. Calm, groovy, heartbreaking, funny and sometimes so multi-layered that the listener could forget that they are just two musicians.
