Technically skilled musicians are plentiful among the emerging jazz generation. But technical ability alone isn't enough to spark the spark. Jakob Manz, on the other hand, brings both: innovative, lively jazz music and an energetic, joyful performance in which musicians don't just stare at the floor. He's already tried it out at a late-night concert two years ago, and now it's already part of the main program. And the chaos that our opening night brings is something we only subject the most talented acts to. Load up and get going.
