Italy is considered the country of origin of great music, opera and the strong emotions associated with it! The programme of the Hans Schaeuble Prize winners ranges from touching sacred sounds by the Roman Allegri to glamorous works by Vivaldi from Venice and lively melodies by Boccherini from Lucca in Tuscany, to the soulful music of the Milanese superstar Verdi and the rousing pieces of the Sicilian Giovanni Sollima.
