La forza della leggerezza – Fiori Perenni

In the exhibition The Power of Lightness, Sonia Ranza presents her sculptures from the Perennial Flowers series, made of ceramic, iron and wood: flowers that defy time, permanently fixing the ephemeral beauty of the plant world. Inspired by spontaneous landscapes, flowers that grow between the cracks and exotic shapes that intertwine with the trees, the artist seizes the moment and transforms it into a work, creating symbols of resistance and poetry. These sculptures are flanked by paintings made with mixed techniques, in which the themes of cyclicality, transformation and memory emerge, through unpredictable shapes and evocative colors. A journey between matter and spirit, strength and delicacy.

Sonia Ranza is an artist and art therapist, trained at the Milano Lyceum – Academy of Clinical Art Therapy. His expressive research explores the relationship between form, matter and the natural world, with works exhibited in solo and group exhibitions. He lives and works between Milan and Lake Maggiore.
