Gianni and Lisa are kidnapped by the magic carpet that takes them beyond deserts, jungles and oceans in search of the water thief of the Aliban oasis. There they meet two twin camels who they suspect was the polar bear who was the architect of the theft.
The mission becomes complex, they cross the universe until they reach a strange little man who will confide in them the secrets of his planet and why he trains his balance on a rope every day. He does not know planet earth, but he gives them a mysterious gift, in the hope that the water thief will repent.
In the musical fairy tale "The Magic Carpet" ecological themes are touched upon with a fantastic and fun approach to the search for balance in the world. The perspective of animals in the desert or jungle becomes a reality, where anything is possible. Their absurd explanations amuse young and old and induce them to move, laugh and sing.
Luca Maurizio won the Graubünden literary prize in 2021 and has been performing for years with his satirical shows in Italian or Swiss German: "100% Happy" (2010), "Grow and multiply" (2017), "Fake News – The law of the flock" (2022).
