A night in which Chur becomes a resonance chamber. Art meets performance, dancehall meets drag, the audience becomes part of the show.
From 12 noon, the group exhibition "Collective Resonances" with six international artists will be shown: Curdin Schneider, Moni Wespi, Mirjam Wirz, Julie Escoffier, Loukhine and Diego Orendain transform the space through video, sound and installation.
At 4, 6 and 8 p.m., Moni Wespi will open her studio for the workshop "Moving Bling". Recycled material is used to create individual accessories for the party in the evening.
At 5, 7 and 9 p.m., Lateena Plummer, the self-proclaimed Dancehall Queen of Switzerland, will perform. The transgender artist and political refugee from Jamaica brings authentic Jamaican dancehall culture to Chur.
The "Moving Bling Party" starts at 9:30 p.m. with DJ Akuaku as well as performances by Drag Couenne and Tallboy. Costumes, beats, transformation – the boundaries between audience and performers dissolve.
From 1 a.m., Hausvrau, Swiss Godmother of the House of Laveaux, will guide you through the early morning hours.
