THE LIFE OF BEES as a musical audio journey by Richard Schnell and Fritz Nagel
"The Life of Bees" tells the story of the bee colony in the cycle of one year, starting with the awakening of the bees in spring. At the peak of their wealth, the otherwise industrious bees are seized by a sudden restlessness, which is followed by swarming. As silent observers, we witness the founding of the new state, the hatching of the new queen and her nuptial flight. We are granted the privilege of approaching life in the bee colony with curiosity. What miracles happen where thousands of bees live together! Richard Schnell draws the images of the story through his narration, through Fritz Nagel's own compositions on the shakuhachi, the kalimba and the bass bansuri they can be experienced.
